We have never been this way before
The bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6
5 TRUST THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
And LEAN NOT on your own understanding;
6 IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM,
And He shall DIRECT YOUR PATHS.
You shall not turn to the left nor right, but when you hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it”. You shall find the old and ancient paths and STAND FAST, for that’s where you find the REST FOR YOUR SOUL.
The RIGHT PATH will provide REST FOR OUR SOUL.
Didn’t God said in the book of Hebrews 4 that we labor diligently to enter into HIS REST.
By LEANING ON the Shepherd of our soul who laid down for His life for us.
THE ONE who makes us LIE DOWN SAFELY in green pastures where we find life.
THE ONE who LEADS US BESIDES still waters.
HE makes us LIE DOWN, HE LEADS US BESIDES.
God starts a new chapter in our lives.
In this season of new beginnings, though the new beginnings are small but the Word of God says despise not the small beginnings.
Forget the old that has passed, and call them not to mind, for the LORD is doing A NEW THING in this NEW DAY. He makes all things BRAND NEW again. He graces us to begin again. This time on a new chapter, on a new page, on a new beginning.
He says you have never been this way before.
His paths drip with abundance
A journey ahead in the unknown, means a greater faith is required. We can trust God because through it all, we know He is good and faithful.
For a greater faith, God will meet us with a greater measure of grace.
I was meditating on Psalms 65 and verse 11 thrills me.
He crowns the year with His goodness, and His paths drip with abundance.
As we journey the next five months into a new year, may He crown the next five months with His goodness and His paths drip with abundance in preparing us and propelling us into the days ahead.
The paths of the LORD DRIP WITH ABUNDANCE as we TRUST THE LORD with all our heart and lean not our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge Him and He shall DIRECT OUR PATHS.
HE ANSWERS BY HIS AWESOME DEEDS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
For He shall make me lie down safely in green pastures where the river is and LEAD US BESIDES STILL WATERS.
BE STILL AND KNOW I AM GOD.
1 PRAISE is awaiting You, O God, in Zion;
And to You the vow shall be performed.
2 O You who HEAR PRAYER,
To You all flesh will come.
3 Iniquities prevail against me;
As for our transgressions,
You will PROVIDE ATONEMENT for them.
4 BLESSED is the man YOU CHOOSE,
And cause to APPROACH YOU,
That he may DWELL IN YOUR COURTS.
We shall be SATISFIED with the GOODNESS OF YOUR HOUSE,
Of Your holy temple.
5 By AWESOME DEEDS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS YOU WILL ANSWER US,
O God of our salvation,
You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,
And of the far-off seas;
6 Who ESTABLISHED the mountains by His strength,
BEING CLOTHED WITH POWR;
7 YOU WHO STILL THE NOISE OF THE SEAS,
THE NOISE OF THEIR WAVES,
And the TUMULT of the peoples.
8 They also who DWELL in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;
You MAKE the outgoings of the monring nad evening REJOICE.
9 You VISIT the earth and water it,
You greatly enrich it;
The RIVER OF GOD IS FULL OF WATER;
YOU PROVIDE THEIR GRAIN,
For so You have PREPARED it.
10 You WATER its ridges ABUNDANTLY
You SETTLE its furrows;
You MAKE IT SOFT WITH SHOWERS,
You BLESS ITS GROWTH.
11 You CROWN THE YEAR WITH YOUR GOODNESS,
And YOUR PATHS DRIP WITH ABUNDANCE.
12 They DROP ON the pastures of the wilderness,
And the little hills REJOICE ON EVERY SIDE.
13 The PASTURES are CLOTHED WITH FLOCKS;
The valleys also ARE COVERED with grain;
They shout for joy, they also sing.
~ Jeremiah 50:4-5 ~
4 “In those days and in that time,” says the LORD, “The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together;
With continual weeping they shall come, And seek the LORD their God.
5 They shall ask THE WAY TO ZION, With Their faces toward it, saying ‘Come and let us join ourselves to the LORD
In a perpetual covenant
That WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.’
His paths DRIP with ABUNDANCE, they DROP ON the pastures of the wilderness for it is HIS RIVER, that RIVER that flows down from the throne room of heaven that brings forth ABUNDANCE.
For the river of God is FULL of water.
It is mentioned in Ezekiel 47 wherever the river flows all that is in it became life.
Oh how we need the river again.
1 Then he brought me back to the door of the temple; and there was water, flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar.
2 He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out on the right side.
3 And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles.
4 Again he measured on thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist.
5 Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was TOO DEEP, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.
6 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me and returned me to the bank of the river.
7 When I returned, there, along the bank of the river, were very many trees on one side and the other.
8 Then he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed.
9 And it shall be that every living thing that moves, WHERE THE RIVERS GO, WILL LIVE. There will be a very great multitude of fish because these waters go there; for they will be HEALED, and EVERYTHING WILL LIVE WHEREVER THE RIVER GOES.
~ Ezekiel 47:1-9 ~
The beginning of verse 9 mentions RIVERS, and as it journeys to the end of the verse, it becomes THE RIVER. As the RIVER OF GOD LIVES IN US, it starts to flow out and wherever the RIVER GOES, everything will live, and the life in it will be HEALED. The fishes will be in abundance, the life in the waters become abundant because the rivers that carry the RIVER OF GOD whereby only in it everything live flows into the life in the waters.
May the LORD continues to fill us deep within until the river within us we cannot cross except that we have to swim in it.
He fills our cup to overflow.
He allows us to be in a dry and thirsty land so that we begin to pant for His presence.
Blessed are those who thirst for His righteousness for they shall be filled.
The river of God is full of water.
May God fills us so deep that we become rivers full of water.
For out of our innermost being shall flow out rivers of living waters.
May the deep river of God meet us to deeply immense us and baptize us once again in the deep volumes and depths of His deep waters.
Just like the Psalmist expressed,
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have GONE OVER me.”
~ Psalm 42:7 ~
Jesus called Peter to walk on water.
He says when we walk through the waters we will not be drowned.
When we go through the waters He brought us to rich fulfillment.
He says be still and know I am God.
The Psalmist says His way was in the sea, His path in the great waters (Psalm 77:19).
Isaiah ways in Isaiah 43:16-17
16 Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea
And a path through the mighty waters
17 Who brings forth the chariot and orse,
The army and the power
(They shall lie down together, they shall not rise;
They are extinguished, theya are quenched like wick):
~ Isaiah 43:16-17 ~
And Isaiah 51:10-11 says
10 Are You not the ONE who dried up the sea, The waters of the great deep; That made the DEPTHS of the sea A ROAD For the REDEEMED to CROSS OVER? ~ Isaiah 51:10-11 ~
His ways are in the waters, His ways are in the deep. May we encounter His chariot and His horse, His army and the power rising in the waters.
The ONE who makes a way in the sea and opens a path through the mighty waters.
He clothes us and envelopes our new season of days in His deep calls unto deep, we shall awaken every morning at the noise of His waterfalls, and all His waves and billows going over us.
So, are we desperate for His waters?
Are we dry and empty enough to be filled once again?
For He is coming again to fill His desperate ones and cause to drink again.
